Brand new, never altered Alma Novia dress - this is one of the lines produced by Spanish designer Rosa Clara. Made of a luxurious mikado, this gown features an a-line/fit and flare skirt (depending on how you might have it altered), a unique key hole back PLUS a long detachable train!

While I ultimately decided to wear another gown on my wedding day, I loved the option of wearing the detachable train for my ceremony and having the dress hemmed to a sweep train. You could just detach the train and not have to do a bustle (which will save you in alteration costs and also allow you to get to your cocktail hour quicker!). The belt is sewn onto the dress. I had also talked to a seamstress about removing the illusion top and making the dress strapless (you can see myself in the dress at the tailors in one photo) and she said it could be easily done. If you google "Rosa Clara Two Minerva," you can see a view of how the dress might look without the illusion top.

For full disclosure, there are a few marks, particularly on the underside of the dress, from it being tried on, as well as a tiny tear in the tulle top. It is barely visible and if you decide to remove it to create a strapless dress, it will not be an issue!
